Amid growing instability in the region, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Monday sent a clear and powerful message to the world: Pakistan’s defense readiness is unwavering, and any threat to its sovereignty will be met with immediate retaliation.
Speaking in the Senate on Monday, Dar delivered a bold warning, stating, “Anyone who looks at Pakistan with an evil eye will have their eye gouged out. The Pakistani nation is united, and a brick thrown at us will be answered with a stone. We remain on high alert.”
Dar reaffirmed that Pakistan’s defense readiness includes a robust nuclear and missile capability, which he described as a “blessing from Allah” and a strategic asset for both national security and regional stability. Emphasizing unity, he noted, “Our nuclear program is a national trust for future generations, and we stand committed to its protection.”

The foreign minister also condemned the recent attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites, calling them “criminal acts” that threaten peace in the region. On India’s recent actions, he claimed that New Delhi’s aggressive stance backfired. “India came to its senses after facing consequences and reached out to the United States for a ceasefire,” he stated.
Addressing a wave of misinformation circulating since mid-June, Dar firmly denied reports claiming that Pakistan had threatened Israel with a nuclear strike. “These are fake news stories,” he clarified. “Even British media ran old interviews, spreading false narratives. War is no joke — it’s a serious matter, and we must stay cautious of propaganda.”

Backing his statements, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also dismissed the Israeli media reports as “baseless and fabricated.” A spokesperson said, “There is no truth whatsoever in these claims. Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state and a major regional power. Such fake news only serves to stir unnecessary tension.”
Dar further shared that Pakistan has been actively engaging in diplomacy during the ongoing crisis. He revealed that he remained in constant contact with the foreign ministers of Iran and Oman, particularly during key negotiation periods. He also highlighted Pakistan’s constructive role in the UN Security Council, an effort that Iran publicly appreciated.
