Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister and the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has delivered a strong message from Adiala Jail that the only option for Pakistanis now is a nationwide movement for freedom and justice.
Khan believes that with political dialogue and judicial relief off the table, freedom and justice movement is now the country’s only option, his sister Aleema Khan said.
Speaking to reporters outside Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan revealed that Imran Khan has launched the movement and urged his followers to rise up. “He said all doors are shut now. The only path ahead is the freedom and justice movement. There is no other way,” she shared.

In a surprising revelation, Aleema said Imran Khan’s sons, Suleman and Qasim, will also join the movement. “They plan to first visit the U.S. to raise awareness at human rights organizations about the injustices faced by their father and then return to Pakistan to participate in the movement,” she said.
Aleema further revealed that Imran Khan emphasized August 5 as a key date, hinting that the movement will reach its peak then. However, the official timeline for protests and rallies will be announced by PTI’s leadership in the coming days.

The former premier has called on every Pakistani to stand up for their rights and resist oppression. “Khan said the people must rise for their freedom, for the rule of law. After the 26th constitutional amendment, your basic rights have been snatched away, and even the judiciary has stopped giving you justice,” Aleema told the media.
Answering a question, she clarified that Imran Khan has not called for negotiations with the government. “There is no talk of talks—only a movement has begun,” she added. Khan also advised that anyone within PTI unable to bear the burden of the struggle should step down from their positions.
