Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Saturday said that India is supporting terrorism in Pakistan.
During a meeting in Karachi with representatives from various religious and social communities, the DG ISPR said that the Pakistan Army is effectively countering these threats with a modern warfare strategy.
The huddle was held to foster national unity and promote interfaith harmony. Participants from diverse religious and social backgrounds welcomed Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif with enthusiasm and expressed solidarity with the armed forces. Various issues were discussed in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif reiterated that Pakistan’s modern warfare strategy is not only about technology but also about the unity of its people. He stated, “All citizens, regardless of their faith, are equal under the Constitution and have full rights. National cohesion is built on equality and harmony.”
He further said that India is supporting terrorism in Pakistan, while the Pakistan Army is responding to the enemy with modern warfare strategies.
The DG ISPR went on to say that the ethnic and sectarian hatred is a form of ignorance, and no force can defeat Pakistan if its people remain united, adding that only the state can declare jihad; no individual or group has the authority to wage armed struggle.
Representatives of different religions and social groups described the meeting with the DG ISPR as valuable. They thanked him and expressed their desire that such meetings should continue in the future as well.
