Military top brass vows to crush Indian-backed terrorism

Date:

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), chaired the 270th Corps Commanders Conference at GHQ, where Pakistan’s top military leadership gathered to assess the country’s evolving security landscape.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the conference commenced with prayers for the martyrs of the Khuzdar terror attack, in which four innocent children and two civilians lost their lives in a brutal assault orchestrated by Indian-backed proxies.

In a strongly worded statement, the forum condemned the targeting of unarmed civilians, especially children, terming it a blatant violation of international laws and basic human values. The participants paid rich tribute to the martyrs of “Operation Bunyan-un Marsoos,” describing them as heroes who laid down their lives defending the nation against unprovoked Indian aggression.

The forum reiterated that the blood of martyrs would never go in vain. “Protecting the lives and dignity of Pakistani citizens will always be our top priority,” the COAS affirmed.

The commanders unanimously lauded Field Marshal Asim Munir’s strategic vision, unwavering leadership, and relentless efforts for national defense. The forum congratulated him on being conferred the title of Field Marshal and acknowledged his exceptional contributions to strengthening the armed forces.

A thorough review of the internal and external security threats was undertaken, highlighting a particular emphasis on the recent triumph of “Operation Bunyan-un Marsoos,” a central milestone of the ongoing national struggle rebranded as “Ma’araka-e-Haq” (Battle for Truth). The conference lavished appreciation upon the unparalleled professionalism, coordination, and endurance of the military, underpinned firmly by the unshakeable will of the Pakistani nation.

Media professionals and “Information Warriors” were also credited with fighting misinformation, Indian propaganda, and disinformation. They were recognized as building public confidence and maintaining facts as a key pillar of national solidarity.

Particular praise was showered on Pakistan’s youth, whose patriotism and participation enriched the national spirit and helped establish Pakistan’s voice in the world effectively. Political leadership’s direction during recent crises was acknowledged by the forum, praising their vision and strong will.

The forum reiterated its full preparedness to thwart any foreign aggression and declared that no threat—whether through force or pressure—would be allowed to undermine Pakistan’s sovereignty. It also reaffirmed its commitment to use all available resources to crush Indian-sponsored terror proxies operating in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Corps Commanders highlighted that the persistent Indian usage of proxies and false flag operations seeks to destabilize Pakistan from within after it fails to become successful with direct military aggression—like the recent incident at Pahalgam. They criticized India’s double game of projecting itself as a victim of terrorism while directly indulging in terrorism throughout the region.

Participants underscored Pakistan’s resolve to confront terrorism with full operational readiness and called for complete synergy between armed forces, intelligence, and law enforcement agencies. “Any attempt to create fear or chaos will be crushed with national unity and unmatched strength,” the forum stated.

The Army Chief praised all ranks on their high morale, outstanding combat preparedness, and professionalism. He credited past successes to divine grace and reiterated the importance of staying alert in the face of persistent security threats.

Field Marshal Munir gave credit to the unwavering support of the nation, referring to them as the real wellspring of national strength. “We are resolved to live up to the trust and expectations of our people in this joint struggle against terrorism, extremism, and foreign aggression,” he said.
