Popular TikToker Sana Yousaf was shot dead inside her home in Islamabad’s Sector G-13 on Monday evening.
The young content creator from Chitral was reportedly killed by a guest who had come to visit her.
According to Islamabad police, the suspect entered Sana’s home under the guise of being a guest and opened fire, fatally shooting her before fleeing the scene. The tragedy unfolded in the jurisdiction of the Sumbal Police Station.

Police officials confirmed that they rushed to the site as soon as they received the report. Sana Yousaf’s body was immediately moved to PIMS Hospital for postmortem. An investigation is now underway, with law enforcement vowing to explore all aspects of the case.
A police spokesperson said, “The murder took place inside the victim’s home and appears to have been committed by someone she knew.” SHO Malik Asif of the Sumbal Police Station also confirmed this, stating that the suspect had posed as a familiar guest, suggesting a personal connection between the two.

TikToker Sana Yousaf was gunned down mere hours after she had shared a video on Instagram from Islamabad, adding to the poignancy of the tragedy for her fans and admirers. The event has raised alarm at the security of influencers and public figures, particularly young women, in Pakistan’s big cities.
Sana was residing with her family in the G-13 sector and was popular for her short, interesting videos that had fetched her a significant number of followers on social media.
The authorities state that a formal FIR would be registered shortl,y and further information would be provided to the media as the investigation unfolds.
